Life tests our patience and resilience. It's a natural part of the human experience to encounter obstacles and face difficult situations. We all face challenges no matter who we are and where we come from. Challenges can take various forms. They can be emotionally and mentally demanding, testing our ability to navigate adversity. Sometimes those tough times become too overwhelming, and the heavy load of difficulties seems impossible to bear.

The relationship between the client and the counsellor is central to the effectiveness of counselling sessions. It is important to me to create a welcoming and nurturing environment, understanding clients’ unique needs so they can feel safe and supported.

My mission is to provide clients with support and guidance through curiosity, respect, compassion, empathy, and acceptance. I aim to help them navigate their challenges and empower them to embrace their needs. Through personalised therapy sessions, I work collaboratively with clients to explore the root causes of their issues.

It’s all about you.

While I believe in the client’s ability to find their own voice and decide what they want to explore and how they want to do it, I understand having a conversation about our past or present challenges can be difficult. For some, finding the right words can be a struggle at times. If suitable and welcomed, I include aspects of expressive therapies like drawing, crafting, LEGO®, miniatures and play, allowing clients to release emotions without judgment. There is no right or wrong.

At Coastal Hearts Counselling, I provide a supportive environment to investigate identity, feelings, experiences, and emotions to encourage growth and self-realization. I use an integrative approach, blending different theories and interventions from various modalities, ensuring that I work with you effectively and with the best possible support.

I am here to walk alongside you on your journey towards healing and growth, offering empathy, insight, and unwavering support every step of the way.

Connecting with you.
